Hands-on Technical Manager for a multi-site Food Manufacturer who prides themselves on exceptional quality. Responsible for technical compliance and standards at their North London site.
Reporting to the Head of Technical, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Ensuring the Quality Managers and their teams are managed and supported
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and implementing projects to enhance quality awareness across the organisation.
- Executing the QA and QC site strategy.
- Overseeing the customer complaint investigation process and monitoring the complaint reduction program.
- Implementing and maintaining the HACCP program
- Coordinating on-site audits and customer visits.
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Experience of working with High Care / High Risk foods within a fast- paced Food Manufacturing site
- Strong experience working with Major Retailers and knowledge of BRC standards
- Ideally a degree in Food Science
- Lead Auditor qualification, HACCP Level 3
- Experience of working in a Technical Manager role within a BRC accredited site

The working hours are Monday to Friday – office hours, 40 hours per week. The salary is £65k – £70k per annum plus potential for 10% bonus.
