Site Technical Manager for an established food business, based in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will ensure food produced is safe, legal, and in line with all legal and customer requirements.
Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Manage all Technical aspects of the Production Site and drive quality standards to the highest level
- Maintain BRC Grade for the site
- Build relationships with all customers to ensure satisfaction
- Assist the management and monitor the Quality Manual
- Develop, train, motivate and manage the technical staff to ensure the highest quality standards are met
- Management of customer complaints and reduction of complaints
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments
- Develop HACCP systems and Risk Assessments
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Good knowledge of and experience in HACCP, BRC and food legislation. HACCP level 4 qualification desirable.
- Technical experience in a food manufacturing business
- Experience of managing a small team

The working hours for the role are 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is up to £60k per annum plus an excellent benefits package. A driving licence and own vehicle is required due to the location of the site.
