Senior NPD Technologist for a multi-national Food Manufacturer based in Staffordshire. Managing NPD activities for new and improved products from research to post launch reviews.
Reporting to the Head of NPD, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Managing product development projects with responsibility for trials, shelf life, samples, and industrial validations
- Playing a leading role in new product development projects, developing products from concept to launch.
- Working closely with customers around ideation projects
- Liaising with all factory departments for the development of projects
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Proven experience of working within an NPD department with experience of Chilled/Short shelf life products, Shelf life analysis, Product Sampling, Factory Trials and Product Costings
- Experience and ability to present to customers confidently and knowledgably
- Proven experience in researching and developing food products from concept to launch
- Innovative with a creative flair and a passion for food

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the business. The salary is competitive plus an excellent benefits package.
