Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for an established Food Manufacturer, based in Cheshire. This is a varied role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, and you will be involved in PPM work, projects, reactive breakdowns, both in production and facilities engineering.
Responsibilities for the role will include:
- Planned and reactive maintenance working with team
- Modifying and updating the PPM system on a daily basis to ensure engineering information is up to date and accurate
- Proactive service and support to production and factory services
- Identifying spares requirements and maintaining stock levels
- Maintaining records for historical purposes of repairs
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or academic and practical qualifications
- Ideally ONC / HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
- Food industry or FMCG experience, but will consider other backgrounds
- Experience within maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
The working hours for the role are 4 on 4 off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 off – 12 hour shifts). The salary is c.£47k per annum + OT, plus an excellent benefits package.
