Leading International Manufacturer of Chilled Prepared Foods for the Major Retailers looking for a Hygiene Supervisor who will coordinate the hygiene teams to safely deliver hygiene procedures and ensure that the manufacturing facility meets regulatory standards and customers’ expectations for hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practice and Micro control.
Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Identifying hygiene requirements by monitoring changes in the production environment
- Consulting with the hygiene team leader to ensure that all team members have the skills and understanding necessary to successfully complete their role
- Conducting hygiene audits
- Planning and coordinating the hygiene aspects of external audits
- Completing risk assessment against hygiene standard
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Experience in a Hygiene Team Leader / Supervisor role in Food or Drink Manufacturing
- Have a clear financial understanding and experience of hygiene operating systems
- Have experience of supporting auditing processes
- Confident using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have experience of leading and working with a diverse workforce

The working hours for the role are 4 on 4 off Night shift 7pm – 7am. The salary is c.£38k per annum plus an excellent benefits package.
