Quality Manager to cover 3pm to 11pm (Monday to Friday) for multi-site Food Manufacturer who prides themselves on exceptional quality. Ensuring site compliance with Quality Management System, BRC standards and customer-specific codes of practice.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, responsibilities for the role will include:
- Providing leadership and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of the Quality Management System
- Overseeing the creation and execution of an internal audit plan
- Acting as a key point of contact during external audits
- Enhancing the proficiency and technical expertise of the Quality Assurance team through the implementation of Technical Strategy.
- Conducting regular reviews of audit findings, customer complaints, and testing outcomes.
Essential / Desirable skills include:
- Experience of working in Technical / QA position in a fast- paced Food Manufacturing site
- HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety
- Auditor Qualifications
- Understanding of Customer Codes of Practice
- Good Time Management and Communication skills
