Product Development Manager for a successful International Food Business based in Berkshire. Project managing the development & launch of new and upgraded product concepts from development process to launch.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Being the main contact for all Development Managers within the client’s own label customers
  • Creating and managing the critical path & milestones for all EPD & NPD projects
  • Ensuring all products developed are in line with company strategy
  • Keeping the business at the forefront of innovation

Essential / Desirable skills include:

  • Experience working with UK Major Retailers
  • Prior experience working with complex chilled products within Food Manufacturing in a customer facing development role
  • Track record in leading projects with a creative flair and a real passion for food development
  • Great project & time management skills
  • A strong understanding of trends and consumer requirements, driving concepts with retailers

The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm or 9am – 5:30pm, with flexibility.  It is anticipated that the successful candidate will work a minimum of 3 days in the Berkshire based office.  The role will also involve occasional Overseas and UK travel. The salary is £50k – £60k per annum plus an excellent benefits package.
